Senior Litigation Attorney
Denver, CO Direct-Hire $150000.00 - $190000.00 Onsite

Job Description

Senior Litigation Associate Attorney

Our client is a highly respected litigation boutique with a sophisticated practice focused on complex construction and business disputes. The firm represents developers, owners, general contractors, design professionals, and other stakeholders in high-value construction matters involving large commercial, infrastructure, and development projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator who enjoys handling substantive, high-stakes disputes and wants meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and a clear path for professional growth. Unlike traditional construction defect practices, the firm's cases often involve complex legal and factual issues arising from major construction projects and significant commercial relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex construction and commercial litigation matters through all phases of litigation.
  • Develop case strategy and work directly with clients on sophisticated disputes.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, including expert and corporate representative depositions.
  • Prepare and argue motions at hearings and court proceedings.
  • Handle written discovery, e-discovery, and document-intensive matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients on significant construction and business disputes involving large-scale projects.
  • Mentor and support junior attorneys and litigation staff as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in construction litigation, commercial litigation, business disputes, or other complex civil litigation matters. Candidates should possess exceptional research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills, along with the ability to independently manage sophisticated cases while working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Experience representing developers, owners, general contractors, subcontractors, or design professionals is highly preferred. While the firm is particularly interested in attorneys who have handled complex construction disputes involving large commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure, or development projects, strong commercial litigators with transferable experience will also be considered. Trial experience, or a demonstrated desire to continue developing as a trial lawyer, is important.

This position offers the opportunity to work on high-value construction and business disputes that extend well beyond traditional construction defect litigation. The firm provides substantial client interaction, meaningful courtroom exposure, and hands-on responsibility in sophisticated matters from day one. The annual billable requirement is 1,800 hours, and a competitive compensation package is offered along with comprehensive benefits, paid downtown parking, and long-term advancement opportunities. No book of business is required. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking to build a long-term career with a respected litigation practice while gaining significant trial and case-management experience. If interested, please apply today. Call Corey at 720.504.2668 with any questions.
